Dr. Peter Ruane is a practicing physician with over 30 years experience. Born and raised in Ireland, he earned his Medical Degree from University College Dublin.

Dr. Ruane completed his internal medicine residency at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota) before becoming Board Certified in Infectious Diseases during his research and clinical fellowship at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

With twenty-five years of experience diagnosing and treating complex HIV related infections with the best antiviral therapies, Dr Ruane expanded his expertise with clinical trial research, developing new treatments for another major RNA virus:  Hepatitis C.

As treatments for Hepatitis C have rapidly evolved over the past three years, Dr Ruane has played a leadership role in Los Angeles bringing promising new treatments in patient focused trials.

Treating a large spectrum of patients, Dr Ruane provides the most up to date treatments available, as well as access to ongoing and upcoming clinical trials with leading pharmaceutical companies. All patients are welcome to apply for trial participation.

Recognized for his expertise in research as well as clinical care, Dr Ruane has been invited to speak at several National and International Conferences. Most recently at The Liver Meeting in 2013 in Washington DC presenting his findings for an HCV trial in Genotype 4 patients.

Peter Wolfe MD

Peter Wolfe was born in Pittsburgh. He graduated from Harvard College cum laude in 1975 and the University of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine in 1979. In that year he moved to Los Angeles for his internship and residency at the VAMC West Los Angeles.

He was selected as a Kennamer Fellow at UCLA for advanced post-residency training. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.

He has been an active investigator in the field of HIV since the beginning of the epidemic, having participated in many pivotal drug development studies.

He has been in private practice since 1986. He continues to have teaching responsibilities as an Associate Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Kenny Trinidad PA

Kenny Trinidad MPAP, PA-C

A Los Angeles native, Kenny Trinidad has focused his practice on Internal Medicine, HIV treatment and Hematology-oncology for more than 10 years. His caring, dedicated approach to the patient as well as his excellent clinical skills have made him an invaluable member and a wonderful addition to Ruane Medical.

Active in the community, Kenny takes part in various HIV prevention programs. He also directs an annual non-profit medical mission to the Philippines. As a clinician, he leads by example showing the accessibility and value of an active lifestyle through his participation in yoga, hiking and tennis competitions (as well as a healthy daily dose of dark chocolate). ☺

Kenny Trinidad earned his Master Degree in Physician Assistant Practice at the Keck School of Medicine at University Southern California and his Bachelors Degree in Physiological Sciences at University of California in Los Angeles.

Kenny has authored several research publications and served as a sub-investigator on several clinical trials.
